I like gadgets, and I like to be efficient - when I saw the aquadapter I had already experimented with pole valves on the pole - which try to trip you up, pole valves on the hose that get muddy & disconnect, Pole valves attached to my workbelt - that tangled up, and often left me with a wet leg, and finally - electric remote control switches - which worked well, but had limited range and were not 100% reliable - sometimes I pressed the button, and then found after a few seconds that it had not received the signal so had to try again.
While all of these methods work - to varying degrees, the Aquadapter eclipses them.
Mine have been 100% reliable, swich on & off immediately - save me loads of water, are never "out of range", and are easy to operate.
I am so impressed that I recommend them to every wfp window cleaner - this is, in my opinion essential, basic equipment.
If you haven't - Why not?
Get one - you wont regret it.

I've been using my aqua dapter for 5 months. I started off with the MK1 and i was impressed. If you currently use a tap or trigger on you pole, you will have a loop of hose trailing around, but with the AD you loose the loop which is great. Its also a lot easier than picking up a tap off the floor to turn you flow off. Another benefit is that you can turn the flow off quickly and easily when cleaning upstairs windows so that you can give the cill a wipe with your brush so that the water doesn't keep dripping on the windows below making it easier and quicker to clean the downstairs windows.
After a couple of months the thread came loose and it stopped turning on and off properly which was a shame as it is a great piece of kit, but Paul at AD was very helpful and kindly replaced my MK1's with the new MK2's. There is a big improvement with the MK2. There are now 2 rivets holding the thread on which eliminates the problem i had with it coming loose, and the mechanism that turns the water on and off has been improved so that there are now no problems with the issues that i had with the MK1 turning on and off.
The AD has a spring inside which allows the trigger to recoil, but this is the weak point, me and my brother us the AD and with in a day of each other our springs broke, so they must only have a certain number of pulls before they fail, but the AD does come supplied with a couple of spare springs so i was able to replace it and carry on working.
So in summary the AD:-
Saves water
Eliminates having a loop in you hose if you currently have a tap or trigger on you pole
Is quick and easy to operate
I couldn't imagine being without one.

Well what can I say??? I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! the amount of water saved is VERY noticable in the tank, all those times through the day when water is ping out everywhere and not on glass really do add up. very easy to use and fit, good build quality, love the flouresant pole hose it comes with. ...
I switched on and off while extending or collapsing the pole, or moving around a building (makes this much easier) and while walking back to the van, It seemed to make the day more pleasant, less faffing around kinking hose or poping the easy snap to find the water still coming out (you know what I mean).
Quite honestly every pole should have one of these! ours soon will. ...
They really do make any trigger or tap a waste of time, there in a different league.

I honestly believe hand on heart that in 5 years time every single wfp operator will have an Aqua-dapter fitted to their poles, it really is the easiest, quickest and most hastle free way to turn your flow on and off. No mad loop of hose, it's light, easy to fit and works a treat. Had mine for two weeks now and really enjoy using the thing. The hose is easily tugged at waist height when the pole is extended and the trigger is easily pulled on or off by your index finger at ground level. For me it's the missing link that has always been the thorn in the side of the wfp set up. The <name of another product> is good but this device I must admit is better. To me, triggers and taps now seem very yesterday and old fashioned, they had their time but things have evolved for the better with this tool.

This is a truly revolutionary invention. It's easy to use and it took 4 minutes to install it on my pole (we shot video of it so I'll have that up on my YouTube channel this week).
It will drastically help when using my backpack and my wfp in general. If you haven't ordered one yet I'd suggest you do so as soon as possible.

Here's that installation on YouTube.
I bought 2 and i've got em on my harris poles and were exactly as advertised (good quality)
Check back through these posts and you'll see what i thought before getting em, i'm glad i was wrong cos they're making my life so much easier now, no more looking up the drive for the tap or holding the pole hose while slackening the clamps it's made me a lot quicker.
...
I've only had em fitted for a week so time will tell but up to now i think they're great and wouldn't swop back
