What is it?

What are the benefits?

Since their introduction to the industry, water fed poles have been a successful and hugely useful tool for cleaning, however window cleaners have always been looking for ways to control the flow of water.

Wasted water costs you money:

• buying resin
• charges for metered water usage
• more important, when water is wasted between windows, you can't do as many jobs during the day, or you may need to refill (wasting time and fuel).

Apart from being environmentally friendly, saving water allows you to do more jobs, and so earn more money.

There are problems with existing methods of water flow control:

1. Pinching/kinking the hose means keeping one hand on the hose, or leaving the water running while you adjust the pole.
2. Triggers can be awkward to use and have an irritating loop of hose which often twists or snags.
3. Inline Taps are a slower, less efficient, method of controlling water use.  They sometimes leak and either have a loop of hose, or you have to find the tap and bend down to operate it.  This can put strain on your back and often becomes too much trouble.
4. Remote controls need batteries and you have to be within range for them to work.
5. Holsters attached to your waist mean you are attached to the hose. As well as feeling rather restrictive, you can also get the problem of wet trousers!

How does it work?

The Aqua-dapter® can be fitted to your pole in less than 5 minutes.

It is fitted to the end screw of your water fed pole (adapters are available for other pole connections), then your existing Angle Adapter / brush can be screwed on to the screw thread on the end of the Aqua-dapter®.

The hose goes down the inside of your Water Fed Pole, allowing you to switch the water flow on or off by simply pulling on the hose at the bottom of the pole.

The tap can also be turned manually if you are working on ground level windows.  See videos.
